The Client DB team is looking for deeply technical, team-first-mentality backend software engineers, who are willing to commit themselves to our goal to grow the business by 10 times over the next 2 years.

Client DB is a key-value database that delivers single-digit-millisecond performance on a massive scale and incredibly high rate of requests per second. A lot of businesses, such as Disney, Dropbox, Snap, The Pokémon Company, as well as external and internal services, depend on the scale and performance of DB to support their mission-critical workloads.

We are looking for engineers to push service even further. DB engineers are constantly challenged to think of unique and innovative solutions. As an engineer here, you will work on the hardest engineering problems in distributed systems. You will be responsible to maintain a high bar in terms of execution, operational readiness, code and design quality. You will serve as a mentor for junior engineers and help them grow. You will need to be comfortable working with Senior and Principal Engineers and hold your ground during design and customer experience reviews.

This is a hands-on position where you will own everything from end-to-end: design, design reviews, implementation, code reviews, iterative feature launches, operations, mentoring, driving continuous improvement and more.
