Project Overview:

We are seeking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to support cloud and on-prem infrastructure for our CI/CD pipeline, data processing pipeline, and large scale storage.

Product consisting of a 120° FoV high-resolution lidar sensor (hardware) and perception packages that segment the point cloud delivered by the lidar into interpretable structures like vehicles, pedestrians, and free space (software). Project includes systems and safety development (functional safety, safety of the intended functionality and cybersecurity).

Responsibilities:

Working with AWS cloud;
Define and write Cloudformation templates;
Define and write Kubernetes templates to setup environments;
Define recipes to bootstrap environments using Saltstack;
Participate in on-call rotations to maintain all cloud and on-prem resources;
Lead post-mortem activities and create documentation when issues arise;
Support the cloud and on-prem infrastructure;
Supporting CI/CD pipeline, data processing pipeline, and large scale storage.

Requirements:

5+ years of industry experience;
Experience with cloud native technologies (AWS, GCP or Azure);
Hands-on experience with code merging and promotion and building and managing CI/CD workflows and tools;
Cross platform experience (Linux/Windows);
Experience with monitoring and log aggregating frameworks;
Experience working with Artifact management systems (e.g. Artifactory);
Expertise with Docker, Kubernetes or other orchestration tools;
Experience with the full software development lifecycle and delivery using Agile practices.

Nice to have:

Strong hands-on experience of programming in Python, Go, Java, .Net, C++ or similar object oriented language;
Extensive Linux troubleshooting experience;
Experience with CloudFormation, Chef, Puppet, Salt, or Ansible in production environments;
General networking knowledge and troubleshooting experience;
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills;
Ability to motivate others, drive collaboration, and quickly resolve conflicts;
Enjoy working within a dynamic and continuously evolving environment;
Able to work successfully in cross-functional teams, especially across organizational and geographical boundaries;
Experience in working in Agile teams and within frameworks such as SAFe;
High energy personality, with a strong and demonstrable work ethic.
