Project Overview:

Our customer is American startup with a mission to speed up the transition of US trucking transport into zero-emission faster than anyone could expect. Combination of business and technology innovation are used to create infrastructure and data-driven workflow that provides truckers and fleet operators the lowest total cost of ownership.

The project goal is to implement an innovative driver-centered product which supports electric truck driver in the process of commercial loads transportation.

We are looking for experienced data engineer to jump start and evolve data warehouse and BI systems for the product.

Responsibilities:

Set up data acquisition and storage policy and procedures;
Elaborate on selection of data collection, analysis and processing tools and implement those tools for working prototypes;
Implement prototypes and expand to production versions for reports, dashboards and BI algorithms;
Perform analytical and technical tasks to complete special and ongoing projects requiring extensive research, data collection, and detailed analysis, following departmental guidelines, policies, and procedures;
Exercise independent judgment to troubleshoot and resolve issues;
Provide complex analytical, technical, and administrative support to facilitate the day to-day operations.

Requirements:

Experience in data architecture and scheme modeling within enterprise environments;
Data warehouse implementation and operation experience;
Experience in one of the Reporting/BI systems such as PowerBI or QuickSight;
Experience as DB Administrator or DB Architect;
SQL and NoSQL data management and data engineering;
JavaScript, Java, or Python language practical experience;
English language knowledge: Upper-intermediate.
