Project Overview:

Established in 1880 in Munich, one of the oldest and leading reinsurance and insurtech companies expands it's research and development division with new top-notch products that use vast data and forecasting models to help insurance around the world make best desicions and drive value forwards.

Project Description

Corporate Knowledge Graph is a semantic data asset linking insurance-relevant information appearing in various systems and data products – to be used for data-driven business use-cases.

Responsibilities:

Create and maintain ETL pipelines for graph database;
Consider extraction tasks that deal with multi-modal datasets;
Consider transformation jobs that consist of many machine learning steps;
Maintain a scalable microservice cluster based on architecture best practices;
Contribute to a multi-lingual code base of Java, Python and Typescript;
Participate in code reviews;
Work with PaaS and SaaS components in a Cloud environment (ADLS, Databricks, Kubernetes, Spark);
Coordinate development activities with adjacent product teams and central cloud+IT infrastructure teams.

Requirements:

Strong background working with graph databases, e.g. Neo4J, TigerGraph or Stardog;
Python (strong experience required);
Experience developing REST APIs and, preferably, GraphQL APIsSQL and NoSQL databases;
Cloud development, preferably in Azure;
Docker, Kubernetes;
oAuth;
Strong DevOps experience including GIT, Jenkins and Gitops;
SCRUM experience;
Excellent communication skills.
